USTADH ABDELRAHMAN MURPHY
Ustadh AbdelRahman Murphy is an instructor at Qalam. He is a faculty member at the Qalam Seminary where he teaches Aqeedah and Tazkiya. He is actively involved in Qalam’s various online programs. Born and raised in Chicago, Ustadh AbdelRahman has Bachelor's Degrees in Education and Religious Studies. He has pursued traditional Islamic studies at the Alimiyah level over the last decade with numerous teachers, primarily under the mentorship of Shaykh AbdulNasir Jangda. He has been serving the community in a full-time capacity in various roles such as a youth director, Islamic Studies teacher, chaplain, and imam, as well as the Director of Roots Community Space. He currently resides in Dallas, TX with his wife and two children.
